HOW I HELP

How I help you
cruise better.

The number of cruise lines, ships, destinations, cabin categories, and fare types can feel overwhelming. The good news is that all those choices mean there is probably a cruise that fits you remarkably well.

My role is to help you find it—and to remain involved long after we make the match.

Personal guidance from Steve.

THE MATCH MATTERS

Similar ports.
Very different vacations.

Will I help you compare cruise lines and ships?

Absolutely. This is where my experience really earns its sea legs.

Two cruises can visit similar ports and look remarkably alike online while offering completely different experiences aboard. Ship size, service style, dining, entertainment, accommodations, fellow guests, pace, inclusions, and even the atmosphere around the pool can make an enormous difference.

I enjoy understanding those differences—and matching them to you.

WORKING WITH ME

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Fees, arrangements, and what happens next. Here’s what you can expect.

Do I pay Steve a planning fee?

For most cruise-only bookings, there is currently no planning fee.

A planning fee may apply when a journey requires more extensive research and customization—particularly when it includes independent hotels, transfers, complicated pre- or post-cruise arrangements, or other land components. If a fee applies, I’ll explain it before beginning that work. No surprises lurking beneath the gangway.

Can Steve book every cruise line?

I can book the majority of cruise lines sailing around the world, but I do have preferred relationships with select companies.

Those preferences are not simply based on who sends the glossiest marketing. They reflect client feedback, the quality and consistency of the experience, the health of the business, industry reputation, and other factors that may affect your vacation.

I’ll encourage you toward cruise lines I believe deserve your consideration. There are also selected companies I may choose not to book because of past client experiences, industry reputation, or other business concerns. My job is not to sell every ship—it is to help you choose wisely.

Can I send Steve a cruise I found online?

Absolutely. Send me the cruise line, ship, sailing date, and a link or screenshot of the offer that caught your eye. Finding something you like is a great place to start—you don’t need to start your search all over again.

I’ll help you look beyond the headline and compare the cabin, inclusions, restrictions, and total cost. Sometimes the offer is a good fit. Sometimes a small detail changes the picture. Let’s make sure the cruise—and the offer—are right for you before you book.

Can Steve arrange hotels, insurance, transfers, and pre- or post-cruise stays?

I can assist with hotels, travel insurance, transfers, and most pre- and post-cruise arrangements.

Air travel can generally be arranged when it is booked through a cruise line’s air-and-sea program. Independent air ticketing is not ordinarily available through Go2SeaWithMe, although I’m happy to discuss the available options and help you understand how they may fit with your cruise plans.

Can Steve help with mobility needs, dietary requirements, or other special requests?

Yes. Please tell me about anything that could affect your comfort or ability to enjoy the trip before we choose a sailing. Accessible accommodations, walking distances, tender ports, dietary needs, and other requests can make a real difference to which ship and itinerary fit you.

I’ll help assess the options and work with the supplier to confirm what can be arranged. Facilities, availability, and requirements vary, so we’ll check the specifics rather than assume every ship can accommodate the same needs.

What happens after I submit the inquiry form?

I’ll review the information you provide and usually respond by email or telephone within one to two business days.

I travel frequently—that is part of how I keep my knowledge grounded in actual experience—so there may occasionally be a slight delay when I am in transit. Your inquiry will not disappear into a mysterious internet porthole. I will get back to you personally.

Does Steve remain involved after I book?

Absolutely. I do not see our relationship as a transaction that ends when a deposit is paid.

I’ll continue supporting you as your cruise approaches, helping with questions, preparation, documentation, and the details that can make the journey easier. That relationship continues until after you return home—because I want your cruise to be everything it should be.

And, quite honestly, I hope you’ll ask me to help plan the next one.

What if my plans change—or something goes wrong?

Get in touch with me as soon as you know something needs attention. I’ll help you understand the options, contact the relevant supplier, and advocate for you when a booking change, cancellation, or other issue needs sorting out.

Any fees, refunds, or credits depend on your booking’s terms and the supplier’s policies. I can help you navigate those rules, but I cannot promise an exception or a particular outcome. If an issue needs immediate attention aboard the ship, speak with guest services first and keep me informed so I can help follow up.

VALUE, WITH SOMEONE IN YOUR CORNER

The lowest number
isn’t always
the best vacation.

Let’s find the cruise that delivers the best value for you.

Does Go2SeaWithMe offer the best price?

My pricing is based on the fares and promotions made available by the cruise lines. I do not discount or rebate cruise fares, and I am not trying to out-discount high-volume online cruise retailers.

Knowledgeable, personal service.

What I offer is knowledgeable, personal service from someone who understands cruising from the inside.

Relationships that can add value.

Through my agency’s relationship with Signature Travel Network, I may also have access to special pricing, amenities, or promotions that are not always publicly advertised. That means there are occasions when I can offer an excellent value—but the real advantage is having someone help you understand exactly what you are booking and whether it is right for you.
