Analytics only with your permission
Go2SeaWithMe uses Google Analytics only after you select “Allow analytics.” If you choose “No thanks,” the Analytics tag does not load. Your choice is stored in your browser so the site can remember it.
You can revisit that decision at any time by selecting “Analytics choices” in the footer.
What Analytics may collect
When allowed, Analytics may record pages viewed, general interaction information, approximate location, and device or browser details. This helps show which cruise-planning information visitors find useful.
What I do not use it for
Advertising and personalized-ad signals are disabled. I do not intentionally send your name, email address, telephone number, or the contents of an inquiry to Google Analytics.
Your inquiry
When you choose “Let’s find your cruise,” you are taken to a form provided by Tern Software. If you submit the form, the information you provide is processed by Tern and used to create a contact and trip inquiry so I can respond to your request. Review Tern’s Privacy Policy for information about how Tern handles form data.
When you subscribe for email updates, Mailchimp processes the contact details, message, and travel interests you submit to manage your subscription and send the communications you requested. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email. Review Intuit’s Global Privacy Statement for information about how Mailchimp handles data.
Yilan, the AI travel assistant
When you chat with Yilan, your messages and relevant public website information are sent to OpenAI to generate a reply. Yilan is an AI assistant; Steve confirms final pricing, availability, and booking details. Please keep payment details, passport information, and other sensitive information out of the chat.
Your conversation remains in the current browser tab for context. This site does not save the conversation as a client record or send its contents to Google Analytics. OpenAI processes requests under its own API data-handling policies.
To limit misuse and control costs, the site stores short-lived request counters, including a daily hash of the connection identifier. It does not store the raw connection identifier in these counters. Opening Steve’s Tern form does not automatically transfer your chat. You choose whether to copy a trip summary into the form and submit it. Chatting does not subscribe you to email updates.
